Our verdict
15×15 is a pleasant way to pass a few minutes, but it's a small game with a short lifespan.
15×15 is a collection of sliding picture puzzles for DOS. The aim is to restore a scrambled picture by sliding its tiles into the right positions, using as few moves as possible.
Gameplay
The game is simple and focused:
- Two grid sizes: Choose between 3×3 and 4×4 puzzles.
- Unlockable pictures: More pictures become available as you progress.
- Scoring: Your score counts down with every move, so efficient solutions are rewarded.
The countdown scoring gives a small extra challenge to an otherwise classic puzzle.
Verdict
15×15 is a competent but very basic sliding puzzle game. It does what it sets out to do, but there’s little here that can’t be found in countless other puzzle collections.
The Good
- Classic, easy-to-understand puzzle
- Two difficulty levels
- Unlockable pictures give a reason to continue
The Bad
- Very limited content
- Basic graphics and minimal sound
- Repetitive after a short time
