Our verdict
Abrams Battle Tank is a fair retro tank sim from Dynamix's early years.
Abrams Battle Tank is a tank simulator from Dynamix that puts you behind the gun of an M1A1 Abrams. Soviet forces are pouring into West Germany, and you must lead your crew through a series of missions.
Gameplay
The game simulates armoured combat:
- Mission briefings: Each mission begins with a briefing.
- Choosing ammunition: Balance Sabot, HEAT and anti-aircraft rounds.
- Combat: Fight tanks, infantry and aircraft.
- Navigation and damage: Check your map and damage screen as you advance.
It’s an approachable tank sim from the late 1980s.
